Twilio Account Setup and AgentFlow Integration

🔹 1. Sign In and Create Account

  1. Go to Twilio and sign in.
  2. Create a new Account.
  3. Enter your preferred name in the Friendly Name field.
  4. Select Twilio and click Continue.
  5. On the Review screen, choose your country and click Create new account.

🔹 2. Personalization Setup

On the personalization screen, follow these steps:

  • Fill in the details about your company.
  • Under How do you want to build with Twilio?, select With 3rd party Integration.
  • Under What do you want to build with Twilio?, select AI Agents.
  • Under Which Channel are you interested in?, select WhatsApp.

🔹 3. Add Account Info to AgentFlow

On the main screen, navigate to Account Info and copy these values:

  • Account SID
  • Auth Token

Paste these values into AgentFlow → Twilio Settings to connect your account.


🔹 4. Messaging Sandbox Setup

  1. Go to Messaging → Try it out from the left sidebar.
  2. Open Sandbox Settings.
  3. In the When a message comes in field, click the eye icon in your AgentFlow channel to copy the Webhook URL.
  4. Paste it into the field.
  5. Ensure Method = POST.
  6. Save and test by sending a message to the provided number or scanning the QR code.

🔹 5. Adding Your Own Phone Number

  1. Go to Messaging → Senders → WhatsApp Senders.

  2. Click Add New Sender.

  3. In the Messaging Endpoint Configuration section:

    • Paste the Webhook URL for incoming messages copied from AgentFlow.
    • Repeat the same for Status Callback URL.
  4. Fill in your Business Profile Information and save.

  5. You can now use your own WhatsApp number with Twilio!
